What does Sikhism say about Pilgrimage?

Sikhism does not support Pilgrimage to holy sites as the Sikhs believe that God is omnipresent and is not located at any place. The following lines from Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji cite this:

Why should I bathe at sacred shrines of pilgrimage? The Naam, the Name of the Lord, is the sacred shrine of pilgrimage.

My sacred shrine of pilgrimage is spiritual wisdom within, and contemplation on the Word of the Shabad.
