What does Sikhism say about Rituals and Superstitions?

Sikhism is the youngest and most modern religion. It condemns empty rituals and superstitions. The worshiping of idols and inanimate objects, fasts, pilgrimage to holy places, several other superstitions and other meaningless rituals are not at all supported in Sikhism as these neither bring oneself closer to God nor make one a better human being.
