Important Questions and their Answers.

What is the importance of 'Path' in Sikhism?

Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji the complete Guru of the Sikhs. It is an anthology of prayers and hymns which contain the actual words and verses of the Sikh Gurus and the Saints. The contents are referred to as the 'Bani'.

A Sikh should recite the 'Nitnem' or the five Banis' which is Guru Ji's hukam and we must imbibe it in our daily routine. 'Nitnem' is usually recited in the morning thereby getting ready for the day with a positive outlook. The 'Rehraas Sahib' is recited in the evening followed by 'Kirtan Sohila' at night during bed-time thereby thanking God for the day and also apologizing for the wrong deeds done, hence, relaxing and de-stressing  for a peaceful night.
